BE, B.Tech, diploma or any degree: factory shift work in Hosur & Bengaluru

Shift work, not a graduate job. SuperGig is a marketplace that connects SuperGig Partners with plants. It is not the employer of record, and it does not promise work or income. Each plant posts its own shifts and sets the pay, and you book the shifts you want in the app.

Shifts come as one-day shifts, weekly repeats, multi-day runs of 1 to 31 days and hourly slots of 1 to 8 hours. There are no engineer, graduate engineer trainee (GET), diploma trainee or office roles on SuperGig, no campus placements, and no offer letters from SuperGig: each shift is its own booking with the plant that posts it.

Your degree or diploma goes in the optional Education section of your profile (its field is called “Degree / Certification”). Plants book by skill and level, so the useful step is to add the skills you can really do on the shop floor. Each one starts at L1 and rises with your record: approved shifts in it, on-time arrivals and how plants rate your work.

Already worked in a plant after your course? Add it to the Experience section of your profile. Some plants mark a shift “Min 1yr experience”, and the shift shows it before you book; levels still come only from your record on SuperGig. See jobs for experienced workers.

Look at quality, maintenance, CNC and tool-room skills. Each starts at L1, whatever your marks or your college:

• Quality and inspection: #1301 Quality Inspector (QC), #1305 CMM Operator and #1311 Blueprint & Measurement Reading.
• Maintenance: #1502 Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, #1504 Hydraulics & Pneumatics Technician and #1507 Machine Setter / Changeover Technician.
• CNC and machining: #1102 CNC Programmer (VMC/HMC), #1104 CNC Milling / VMC Operator, #1109 Tool & Die Maker and #1110 CAD / CAM Draughtsman.
• Automobile and mechatronics: #1604 Engine / Powertrain Assembly, #1403 PLC / Automation Technician and #1407 Robotics / Cobot Technician.

Add only what you can really do on a live line: plants book by skill and level, and a level rises only with your record on SuperGig.

Electrical work starts with #1403 PLC / Automation Technician and #1405 Panel Wireman, which you can add at L1 straight away. #1401 Electrician is different: by law, electrical installation work is licensed, so in the app it counts from L1 only once SuperGig has verified your #2004 Electrical Wireman / Supervisor Licence.

For ECE and electronics courses, look at #1408 Electronics Test & Repair Technician, #1602 Electronics / PCB Assembly, #1607 SMT Machine Operator and #1610 End-of-Line Test Operator, and at #1404 Instrumentation Technician if you studied instrumentation. Stores, dispatch and paperwork skills fit many graduates. A BSc in chemistry or physics also fits #1308 Lab Technician / Chemical Analyst and #1307 Calibration / Metrology Technician.

And any graduate can book shifts that have no skill check: any KYC-verified Partner can book them, whatever their trade or degree. Each shift shows its role, duties, hours and pay before you book.

You do not need a degree, a diploma or any certificate to join SuperGig. Leaving a BE, B.Tech, diploma or degree course before the end does not stop a college dropout from signing up, and nobody asks for a transcript. SuperGig does not run or register apprenticeships, and a shift is not an apprenticeship. If you want a NATS or NAPS apprenticeship, apply on the official portals:

• nats.education.gov.in: the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme, for graduates and diploma holders.
• apprenticeshipindia.gov.in: the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme portal of the Government of India.

Certificates from Skill India or PMKVY courses (see the Skill India Digital Hub), NSDC partners, NTTF or CIPET can go in your profile’s Education section. SuperGig does not verify them and they do not set a level; only the 14 licences and certificates in the app, such as #2004 Electrical Wireman / Supervisor Licence or #2001 Forklift Licence, count once SuperGig has verified them. Never pay for a job offer. An ad for a “B.Tech fresher” or “diploma trainee” job at a well-known brand, with a big monthly pay figure, that asks you to pay ₹… for “registration”, “training” or a “uniform”, is a fake offer, however real it looks.
