Dispatch documentation is the paperwork that lets goods leave a plant legally and arrive without dispute: the tax invoice or delivery challan, the packing list, the GST e-way bill, the lorry receipt and the gate pass. Add skill #1710 Dispatch Documentation / E-Way Bill in the SuperGig Partner app, and when plants in Hosur and the Bengaluru industrial areas post dispatch-desk shifts, you see each one on the map with its pay before you book.

The work

What dispatch documentation and e-way bill work involves

01What the work is

No truck leaves a plant without papers. The documentation desk prepares or checks the invoice or delivery challan for each consignment, matches it to the packing list and the count on the vehicle, and generates the e-way bill on the government’s GST e-way bill portal: Part A with the invoice details, the parties, the HSN codes and the value, Part B with the vehicle number. Challans for job work and returnable material, the transporter’s lorry receipt (LR) and the security gate pass complete the set. Afterwards the desk files proofs of delivery and keeps the dispatch register.

02A shift, start to finish

Most of the day follows the loading dock. As each vehicle is loaded, you take the final count, raise or print the invoice, generate the e-way bill with the vehicle number, and hand the set to the driver and the gate. When goods move to another truck on the way, Part B is updated with the new vehicle. Quieter hours go to correcting or cancelling documents the proper way, chasing signed proofs of delivery and balancing the dispatch register against the invoices raised.

03Your skill in SuperGig Partner

In the app this is #1710 Dispatch Documentation / E-Way Bill. Neither NCO-2015 nor the national NSQF register has an occupation for dispatch paperwork, so the app links the skill to ESCO’s distribution centre dispatcher and cites the GST e-way bill system, rule 138 of the CGST Rules, 2017. Like most skills, it starts at L1 when you add it, and no licence is involved. A shift that wants coordination and paperwork from one person can list #1706 and #1710 together, and you need both at the shift’s level.

On the shift

What you do on dispatch documentation and e-way bill shifts

The usual tasks of the trade. Every shift in SuperGig Partner has its own job description with the duties, so you know the work before you book.

  1. 01

    Prepare invoices and challans

Raise or check the tax invoice or delivery challan for each consignment from the plant’s system.

  2. 02

    Generate the e-way bill

Fill Part A from the invoice and Part B with the vehicle number on the GST e-way bill portal.

  3. 03

    Match papers to the load

Check that counts, part numbers and package marks on the vehicle agree with the documents.

  4. 04

    Update a change of vehicle

Update Part B when goods move to another vehicle, so the bill always names the truck carrying them.

  5. 05

    File proofs of delivery

Collect signed and stamped copies from drivers and transporters and file them against each invoice.

  6. 06

    Keep the register straight

Record every invoice, e-way bill number, vehicle and LR for audits and customer queries.

Safety and PPE

Every plant sets its own safety rules. A shift can list what to bring or wear and the hard parts of the work, so read it before you book.

  • Careful at the dockWhen you check a loaded vehicle, stay clear of reversing trucks and moving forklifts.
  • Check before you generateA wrong GSTIN, value or vehicle number can hold a truck up on the road, so check every field first.
  • Guard portal loginsUse only the login the plant gives you, and never share it or an OTP.
  • Never back-dateNever alter or back-date a document to cover a mistake; report it and correct it the proper way.

How your level rises

#1710 Dispatch Documentation / E-Way Bill starts at L1 when you add it in My Skills. Each skill climbs from L1 to L5. Only SuperGig sets a level, from your record, never the app. Three things move it up:

  • Approved shifts in the skillShifts a plant approved that listed this skill when it was posted.
  • Arriving on timeAn arrival SuperGig verified, such as the WorkPass check at the gate.
  • How plants rate your workIt counts once a plant has rated you. Before that it never holds you back.

The app shows what your next level needs.

The skill check on a shift

A plant can list skills on a shift with one minimum level for all of them, from L1 to L5. You need every listed skill at that level, and SuperGig checks yours before the booking is accepted.

A shift with no skills listed has no skill check: any KYC-verified Partner can book it.

Asked to pay for a shift?

Don’t pay. SuperGig never charges Partners to join or to get a shift.

Tell us
What is an e-way bill, and who generates it?
An e-way bill is an electronic document on the government’s GST e-way bill portal for moving goods by road. It is usually generated by the business sending the goods, or by the transporter on its behalf, before the goods move: Part A carries the invoice details and Part B the vehicle number. In the SuperGig Partner app this work is #1710 Dispatch Documentation / E-Way Bill.
Do I need GST or accounts training for dispatch documentation shifts?
The app asks for no certificate: #1710 starts at L1 when you add it. What helps is knowing your way around an invoice, a GSTIN, HSN codes and the e-way bill portal, and being careful with numbers; #2106 Computer / Data Entry is a skill of its own that a plant can list too. A shift’s description says which system the plant uses and what its dispatch desk handles.
Can I work a dispatch desk in the evening or at weekends?
When plants post such shifts, yes; some plants dispatch late in the day so trucks travel overnight. Set the Evening slot (2 PM – 10 PM), or add Saturday and Sunday, in My Availability. See weekend shift jobs and part-time shifts.
How do I get e-way bill work near SIPCOT Phase 2 with SuperGig?
SIPCOT Phase 2 in Hosur has automotive, engineering and electronics plants, and every consignment they send needs its papers. Add #1710 in My Skills and set your travel distance; when plants there post dispatch-desk shifts, they show on your Find Shifts map with the pay. See jobs in SIPCOT Phase 2.
What is the difference between #1706 and #1710?
#1706 Logistics / Dispatch Coordinator plans the dispatch: orders, vehicles, loading order and tracking. #1710 does the paperwork that goes with it: invoices, challans, e-way bills, LRs and the register. In a smaller plant one person often does both, and a shift can list both skills.
Do I pay for training or registration to get dispatch shifts?
No. Joining SuperGig, doing KYC and booking shifts are free, and there is no paid course you must buy to add #1710. The app says it plainly: “You never pay to work here. Ever. No fees, no deposits, no agents.” If anyone asks you for money for a SuperGig shift, refuse and tell SuperGig.
