Your trade, in the app’s words.

Plants on SuperGig don’t book by certificate. They book by skill and level. So the first thing to do with your ITI or diploma is to turn it into skills: SuperGig Partner has 133 of them in 12 categories, from turning and CNC work to welding, electrical, instrumentation and maintenance.

Where a standard fits, each skill is mapped to India’s National Classification of Occupations (NCO-2015) and the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF), as well as ISCO-08 and ESCO. Not every skill has a code in every standard, and the app shows the ones that do.

Your profile has an Education section too: add where you studied, your course and the year you finished. Then let your work speak: every skill starts at L1 and rises with approved shifts, on-time arrivals and how plants rate your work.

Set up your profile

Six steps to trade shifts.

Do these once, and Find Shifts can show you the trade shifts you’re able to book.

  1. Do KYC once

    Upload your Aadhaar and PAN, reviewed by SuperGig’s verification team. You need a verified Aadhaar before you can book.

  2. Add your trade skills

    Pick the numbered skills you trained in and can do. Each starts at L1; a few wait for a licence SuperGig has verified first.

  3. Get licences verified

    Electrical, forklift, crane, boiler and driving licences, and safety certificates, count once SuperGig verifies them. Keep the original ready.

  4. Add your ITI or diploma

    In your profile’s Education section, add where you studied, your course and the year you finished.

  5. Set your availability

    Choose your days, your time-of-day slots and how far you’ll travel, then book the trade shifts that fit.

  6. Let your levels rise

    Approved shifts in a skill, on-time arrivals and how plants rate your work move it from L1 towards L5.

What your certificate does, and doesn’t, do on SuperGig.

  • A certificate isn’t a level

    SuperGig doesn’t set skill levels from certificates or marks. Every skill starts at L1, and only SuperGig sets a level, from your record on SuperGig.

  • Some trade skills wait for a licence

    Electrician skills such as #1401 Electrician wait for a verified #2004 Electrical Wireman / Supervisor Licence, and forklift, crane, boiler and driving skills wait for theirs.

  • Shifts, not placements

    SuperGig is a marketplace, not a placement agency or an employer. Plants post shifts and set the pay; you book the ones that fit your trade.

Can ITI holders find factory shifts on SuperGig?
Yes, when plants post shifts that need your trade. Add the skills you trained in, such as turning, fitting, welding or electrical work, and Find Shifts shows open shifts near you in Hosur and Bengaluru (Bangalore), with the pay before you book.
Do I need to upload my ITI certificate?
No. You can add your ITI or diploma to the Education section of your profile, but plants book by skill and level, not by certificate. The 14 licences and certificates SuperGig verifies, such as the electrical, forklift and boiler licences, are different: they count only once SuperGig has verified them.
What is NCO-2015, and why does it matter?
NCO-2015 is India’s National Classification of Occupations. Where a standard fits, each SuperGig skill is mapped to an NCO-2015 code and to NSQF, so the skills on your profile have clear, standard names. #1203 TIG Welder, for example, maps to NCO-2015 7212.0105, “Tungsten Inert Gas Welder”.
I have a diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering. Which skills fit?
Pick the skills you can do on the shop floor. Good places to look: quality and inspection skills such as #1301 Quality Inspector (QC) and #1305 CMM Operator, maintenance skills, electrical and instrumentation skills such as #1403 PLC / Automation Technician, or #1102 CNC Programmer (VMC/HMC).
Do I pay to register as an ITI or diploma holder?
