How SuperGig works: From sign-up to month-end registers, step by step.

A plant runs SuperGig in nine steps: create the company account, get verified, put the plant and its gates on the map, post a shift, fill it crew-first, check Partners at the gate with WorkPass, approve pay with the evidence beside each name, and download the month’s registers. Services and machines sit in the same app.

Chapter 1 · Set up once · steps 1–3

An account, a verified company and your plant on the map. You do these once, with SuperGig beside you.

    • Plant

Step 1 of 9 · Set up once

    Create your company account.

The apps aren’t on public app stores yet, so SuperGig sets you up with SuperGig Plant directly. Sign-up asks for six things about your company and the person running it.

    1. 1Accept the Employer Terms and Privacy Notice
    2. 2Tap “Create Company Account”
    3. 3Confirm the emailed link, then sign in

    Industries to pick from

    • Industrial manufacturing
    • Warehouse & logistics
    • Electronics
    • Automotive
    • Textiles & garments
    • Construction
    • Food processing
    • Other

How each industry runs on SuperGig Plant

The Employer Terms, in plain words

    1. 1

SuperGig is a marketplace. It is not the employer, contractor or staffing agency for any worker.

    2. 2

Your business pays workers in full and on time.

    3. 3

Your business handles statutory compliance and safety.

    4. 4

Your business checks and files the registers. SuperGig Plant builds them from your shifts.

The app sums up the terms in eight key points; these four matter most. Questions? Ask us before you sign up.

    • Plant
    • SuperGig

Step 2 of 9 · Set up once

    Get verified, and show it.

In your company profile, add your GST number and factory address. SuperGig reviews them, and your profile shows the Verified Employer badge.

    • Until the review is done, your profile shows “Verification pending”.

    • Partners see a Verified mark on your shift cards only when your company really is verified.

    • Verification doesn’t skip the shift check: SuperGig still reviews every public shift before Partners see it.

Step 3 of 9 · Set up once

Put your plant on the map.

Search for the plant, use your current location or tap the map, then drag the pin to the exact spot. The pin and its radius decide where Partners can clock in.

    Clock-in radius 100–1,000 m

100, 250, 500 or 1,000 m around the pin, 250 m to start. Check-ins count as at the plant inside it.

    Named gates 12 gates

Up to 12 per plant, each within 3 km of the pin. Each shift tells Partners which gate to come to.

    Safety video 3 questions

Add a link to your safety video. The Partner app turns it into an induction course: the video and three questions.

More than one plant All plants

Add each plant, then switch between them or pick “All plants”. The map, shifts, people and approvals follow your pick.

A Partner counts as inducted at your plant after a completed shift there, or when you record it. Turn on “Induction course counts as induction” and passing the course counts too.

Chapter 2 · Every shift · steps 4–7

The same four steps for every shift, whether it’s twelve operators tomorrow or a 31-day run.

    • Plant
    • SuperGig

    Step 4 of 9 · Every shift

Post a shift on one page.

What, where, when, workers and pay: one page, grouped the way you think about a shift. Start from a saved template and you only pick the date.

    Four timing modes

One dayA single date and its hours.
Repeat weeklyPick the weekdays and an end date.
Multi-dayA run of 1 to 31 days, with skip dates.
    Hourly slotsSlots of 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 hours.

SuperGig Plant Post a shift, started from a saved template, with the role and category
    Public

Any KYC-verified Partner can book it. SuperGig checks every public shift before Partners see it; one sent back shows “Edit & resubmit”.

    My crew only

Only your crew sees it, and it opens the moment you post.

    • Partner
    • Plant

    Step 5 of 9 · Every shift

    Fill it, crew first.

Partners book your shifts themselves, after KYC and skill checks. You decide who hears first, and Shift Health shows which shifts need help.

    Crew first

Give your crew until a time you choose, or open the shift to everyone now. A multi-day run can stay crew only, or open to all after 2, 6 or 24 hours. The public listing is still checked by SuperGig.

    Waitlist

A full shift offers a waitlist. If a slot frees, the next Partner is confirmed automatically.

    Nudge

From 12 hours before the start until 15 minutes after it, ask booked Partners to reconfirm.

    Shift Health

Each upcoming shift shows Fully booked, On track or At risk, with expected turnout, and buttons to add workers, raise the pay or send a hot-fill.

“No fill time is promised; replies show here as they come.” SuperGig doesn’t guarantee that a shift fills.

    Step 6 of 9 · Every shift

On the day, know who’s in.

Your guard asks each Partner to open their WorkPass, then types the 6-digit code, which changes every 30 seconds, or scans its QR. The app answers in one of three ways:

    • VerifiedA live WorkPass for this shift. The booking shows “Gate verified” with the time.
    • Not this shiftThe pass isn’t for this shift, or it’s outside the window: 3 hours before the start until the shift ends.
    • Not verifiedThe code or QR didn’t match a live WorkPass.
    • No live pass?

The guard can use the Partner’s 4-character roster code. The app reminds them: “A roster code isn’t a live pass — check their ID before letting them in.”

    • Clock-in, inside the geofence

The attendance log records every clock-in and refused clock-in, and anyone who leaves the geofence and comes back.

    • Clock-out, even if they forget

A forgotten clock-out closes automatically after the end of the shift, 60 minutes after it by default.

  1. Steps 1–2You sign up and get verified

    Sign-up and KYC

They sign up with their name, mobile, work types and area, then upload Aadhaar and PAN for KYC, reviewed by SuperGig’s verification team. The Aadhaar number they type is cut to its last 4 digits, and the card photos stay private to that team. A verified Aadhaar is needed before booking.

  2. Step 3You add your safety video

    Your induction course

Your safety video becomes a short course in their app: the video and three questions.

  3. Steps 4–5You post and fill the shift

    Find and book

Shifts appear on a map with the pay on each pin, filters and a “Best match” list. Skill checks run when they book, and a full shift offers the waitlist. A hot-fill offer shows the route, a countdown and the extra pay, and they swipe to accept.

  4. Step 6The day of the shift

    WorkPass and clock-in

They can share their trip with you on the way. At the gate they show the WorkPass: a 6-digit code that changes every 30 seconds and works offline, plus a QR. Clock-in only works inside your geofence, and the live shift screen has an SOS button that calls 112 first.

  5. Step 7You approve the sign-off

    Earnings, tracked

Their earnings show each shift as booked, awaiting approval or earned, with weekly statements. Their SuperScore updates from real shifts: show-ups, punctuality and ratings.

  6. Step 8Your registers fill in

    A record that travels

Every completed shift adds to their Work passport, a PDF built from real completed shifts that they can show the next plant.

Questions

What plants ask before they start.

Can’t find yours? Call us; we speak English, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada.

How do we get started with SuperGig Plant?
Book a plant demo, or call or WhatsApp us. The apps aren’t on public app stores yet, so SuperGig onboards plants directly. Our corridor team will reach you for further onboarding. We walk you through the app, then set up your company account, verification and first plant with you. Book a plant demo, call +91 79969 95996 or WhatsApp us on the same number. Our playbook covers how to staff factory shifts in Hosur and Bengaluru.
Does a verified company skip SuperGig’s shift review?
No. Verification gives your profile the Verified Employer badge, and Partners see a Verified mark on your shifts. SuperGig still checks every public shift before Partners see it. Crew-only shifts open the moment you post.
Can we keep shifts for our own regular workers first?
Yes. Star the Partners you want back into your crew, then post a crew-only shift, which opens the moment you post, or give your crew until a time you choose before the shift opens to everyone (the public listing is still checked by SuperGig). A per-company block list stops a Partner from booking your shifts.
What if a shift still isn’t full on the day?
Shift Health marks each upcoming shift Fully booked, On track or At risk. You can nudge booked Partners to reconfirm from 12 hours before the start, add workers, raise the pay, or send a hot-fill that reaches Partners inducted at your plant first and widens every 3 minutes. SuperGig doesn’t guarantee that every shift fills, and no fill time is promised.
What if a Partner’s phone has no live WorkPass at the gate?
Your guard can use the Partner’s 4-character roster code instead. The app reminds them that a roster code isn’t a live pass, so they should check the person’s ID before letting them in, and no gate check is recorded for that entry.
Does anything get approved or paid automatically?
No. Nothing approves sign-offs automatically. You approve each sign-off, or select several at once; any with a concern, such as “Never clocked in” or “Left early”, stay out of Select all and ask a second time. Before you confirm, the app shows the worker pay, any premiums and bonuses, and the platform fee.
Are the EPF and ESI files ready to file as they are?
They are prepared records for portal upload: the EPF ECR (v2) as a .txt file for the EPFO employer portal, and the ESI monthly return as a .csv file for the ESIC portal. Have your CA or consultant review them before filing. The rates used are set on your account by SuperGig.
Which languages do the apps work in?
SuperGig Plant is in English. The SuperGig Partner app and the SuperGig support team work in English, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada.
