Starting out

Your first factory shift starts here.

Everyone starts somewhere. When a plant posts a shift without listing any skills, that shift has no skill check: any KYC-verified Partner can book it, whatever their trade. That makes it a good place to begin, with work like loading, packing, housekeeping or helping on a line, when plants post it.

Before your first booking, do KYC once. Upload your Aadhaar and PAN in the app: they’re reviewed by SuperGig’s verification team, and you need a verified Aadhaar before you can book a shift.

Then add skills as you go. Every skill starts at L1, and a few make sensible first picks: #1007 Production Helper, #1704 Material Handler / Loader, #1801 Packing Operator, #1802 Pick & Pack Associate and #1901 Housekeeping. You can add the languages you read and write, too, such as #2101 Read & Write Tamil or #2102 Read & Write English.

Your first shift, step by step

What happens on the day.

No surprises: this is how a shift works in SuperGig Partner, from booking to sign-off.

  1. Book it, then say “I’m coming”

    Read the job, the duties, the hours and the pay, then tap “Book shift” and confirm. Before the day, tap “I’m coming” in My Shifts.

  2. Bring what the card asks for

    The shift card lists what to bring, like safety shoes or ID, and the hard parts, like heavy lifting.

  3. Share your way there, if you like

    “On my way” lets you share your location with the plant while you travel to a booked shift. It’s your choice.

  4. Show your WorkPass at the gate

    The guard types your WorkPass code or scans its QR. The code changes every 30 seconds and works offline.

  5. Clock in inside the plant

    Clock-in opens at the shift start, inside the plant’s gate area. The live shift screen then shows your shift, with an SOS button.

  6. Clock out and get signed off

    The plant checks your shift and approves your pay when it signs it off. Your first completed shifts start your SuperScore and your Work passport.

Starting out is exciting. Keep these in mind and you’ll start well.

  • Never pay anyone for a shift

    SuperGig never charges Partners to join or to get a shift. If anyone asks you for a fee, a deposit or an agent’s cut, don’t pay. Tell us.

  • Book only what you’ll work

    Cancelling less than 12 hours before the start counts as half a no-show on your SuperScore. The app shows the effect before you confirm.

  • Your safety at the plant

    The plant that books you is responsible for your safety, safety gear and supervision. In an emergency, call 112 first.

Can I get a factory job with no experience?
Yes, on shifts that allow it. When a plant lists no skills for a shift, there’s no skill check, so any KYC-verified Partner can book it, whatever their trade. Shifts that list skills need each one at the level they ask for, and every skill starts at L1 when you add it.
What do I need to start?
An Android phone, your mobile number and an email address, and your Aadhaar and PAN for KYC. They’re reviewed by SuperGig’s verification team, and you need a verified Aadhaar before you can book a shift.
Is there training for freshers?
The app’s Learn section has short courses, graded on SuperGig’s server; you pass with 4 out of 5. They are awareness courses, not certificates. Your skills grow on the job: each approved shift in a skill counts towards its next level.
Do I need to know English?
No. SuperGig Partner works in English, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada, and our team speaks all five when you call.
Which shifts suit helpers?
Look for shifts with no skill check, and for work such as packing and dispatch, warehouse and loading, housekeeping or assembly line shifts. Each shift card shows the duties, the hours and the pay before you book.
Do I pay a fee to join?
No. “You never pay to work here. Ever. No fees, no deposits, no agents.” If anyone asks you for money to get a SuperGig shift, don’t pay. Call us on +91 79969 95996 instead.
