This summary explains, in plain language, what SuperGig collects and why. It does not replace the full legal policy, available on request.
What we collect
To verify you and run shifts, we collect identity details (name, phone, eShram UAN, KYC/PAN), work history on SuperGig, shift attendance and location at check-in, and payment details needed to pay you or bill an employer.
How we use it
- Verify identity and eligibility to work.
- Match workers to suitable shifts and rank by reliability.
- Process payouts, fees and statutory contributions.
- Generate compliance registers for employers.
- Keep the platform safe and prevent fraud.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your contact details with third parties for marketing. Your reliability score is built only from real shift behaviour — it is never for sale.
Your choices
You can access, correct or delete your data, and withdraw consent for optional processing, at any time from the app or by writing to privacy@supergig.io. Some data is retained where law requires (e.g. statutory wage records).
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to staff who need it to provide the service. Document fetches via DigiLocker happen only with your explicit consent.
By using SuperGig you agree to these terms. They govern both the SuperGig Partner (worker) app and the SuperGig Company (employer) app.
Who can use SuperGig
Workers must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in India, and complete identity verification. Employers must be registered businesses able to lawfully engage shift workers.
Shifts & pay
- Shift terms — pay, timing, location and benefits — are shown before booking and form the agreement for that shift.
- Employer sign-off confirms attendance and releases pay.
- Instant payouts may carry a clearly-shown flat fee; the 2-day transfer is free.
Conduct
Both sides agree to act honestly: workers attend booked shifts and clock in truthfully; employers post genuine shifts and pay promptly on sign-off. Misuse, fraud or harassment can lead to removal from the platform.
Reliability score
The reliability score reflects real shift behaviour. SuperGig may adjust scoring to keep it fair and resistant to gaming; it is informational and not a guarantee of work.
Liability
SuperGig is a marketplace connecting workers and employers. We are not the employer of record for a given shift unless explicitly stated. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees applicable to the shift in question.
