Account deletion

Delete your SuperGig account

You can delete a SuperGig Partner or SuperGig Plant account in the app, or by email to support@supergig.co. This page explains what SuperGig erases, what it keeps and for how long, and what happens while a request is open.

In the Partner app In the Plant app By email

Apps by SuperGig Technologies Pvt. Ltd. · SuperGig Partner · SuperGig Plant

Handled by our team
Not automatic: we erase your account and confirm to you.
Keep using the app
Your account keeps working until then.
Some records stay
Only what the law, a dispute or a fraud check needs, for as long as needed.
Permanent once done
A completed deletion cannot be undone.
Step by step

Ask in the app, or by email

Use whichever is easier. Every request reaches SuperGig support, and our team handles it.

SuperGig Partner · workers

In the Partner app

  1. 1Open Settings, from your Profile or the menu at the top of the app.
  2. 2Scroll down to Danger Zone and tap Request account deletion.
  3. 3Read the message and tap Send request.

You'll see “Deletion request sent”. Your account keeps working until our team erases it and confirms.

SuperGig Plant · employers

In the Plant app

  1. 1Tap Menu at the top of the app.
  2. 2Under Account, tap Help & support. It opens an email to support@supergig.co.
  3. 3Ask us to close your company account and erase its data. Send it from the email address you sign in with.

Closing the account does not cancel what your business owes for shifts already worked.

Email support@supergig.co

Write from the email address registered on your SuperGig account, or include the mobile number registered on it, so we can find the right account. This also works if you can no longer sign in.

What happens next

  1. 01

    Your request reaches support

From the Partner app it arrives as a support request. By email it arrives at support@supergig.co.

  2. 02

    Our team erases your account

Deletion is not automatic. We erase or anonymise your data, except the records listed under “What we keep”.

  3. 03

    We confirm to you

Our team confirms when it is done. Until then your account keeps working. Once completed, it cannot be undone.

What is deleted

What we erase

When we close your account, we erase or anonymise your data. The only exceptions are the records under “What we keep”.

What is kept

What we keep, and for how long

A few records outlive an account because the law, a dispute or a fraud check needs them. We keep them only as long as needed.

Records the law requires

Wage, attendance and tax records, including payment records kept for tax law.

Kept only as long as the law requires

Records for a dispute or fraud check

Records we need to settle a dispute or to prevent fraud.

Kept only as long as needed

Details a plant already received

For a shift you booked, the business received your details to run that shift. Under the DPDP Act it must use them only for that, and delete them when it no longer needs them.

That business’s duty, under the DPDP Act
Good to know

Before you delete

Just fixing a detail?

You can edit your profile in the app, or ask us to correct or complete your data. You do not need to delete your account for that.

Want a summary first?

You can ask for a summary of your personal data and how we use it before you delete.

Keep your Work passport

Partners can download the Work passport PDF from Passport in the app, to keep a record of their completed shifts.

It cannot be undone

Once our team completes it, your profile, shift history and KYC records are permanently erased.

Questions

Questions about deleting your account

Can I keep using the app while my request is open?

Yes. Nothing is erased until our team acts on your request. Your account keeps working until then, and we confirm when it is done.

I can’t sign in any more. Can I still delete my account?

Yes. Email support@supergig.co from the email address registered on your account, or include the mobile number registered on it, so we can find the right account.

Is my Aadhaar number deleted?

Only the last 4 digits of the Aadhaar number you typed are kept, and the card photos you uploaded are stored privately. Both are erased with your account.

Will the plants I worked for still have my details?

A plant received your details to run the shifts you booked. Under the DPDP Act it must use them only for that and delete them when it no longer needs them, apart from the registers and records the law requires it to keep.

Does withdrawing consent mean deleting my account?

Yes. You can withdraw your consent at any time by asking for your account to be deleted. This does not affect what was done before, and you cannot use the app without it.

Does closing a plant account cancel what we owe?

No. What your business owes for shifts already worked stays owed.

What if I’m not happy with how my request was handled?

Write to the Grievance Officer at support@supergig.co. We will acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and try to resolve it within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
