What it usually covers

What machine calibration usually covers

Pressure gauges, calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, thermometers and weighing scales drift with use. When a reading decides whether a part passes, the instrument behind it needs a current calibration, and quality audits often ask to see the certificate.

Machine calibration in SuperGig Plant turns your instrument list into one quote: the instruments you list, checked across the range you actually use, with a calibration certificate from the provider.

  1. Calibration of the instruments you list

    Only what is on your list, so the quote is clear. Give each instrument’s type, range and resolution, and how many of each you have.

  2. Accuracy check across the working range

    Readings compared against a reference at points across the range you work in, not at a single point.

  3. A calibration certificate from the provider

    The provider issues the certificate, not SuperGig. If your customer or auditor needs a particular format or accreditation, say so in the scope before the quote is written.

Optional, like a budget range. Add up to 6 photos or drawings: JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF, 10 MB each.

If an instrument belongs to a machine you keep in the Machines tab, add the job as a service record of the kind Calibration. A Calibration record resets that machine’s service schedule, and the certificate can sit on the machine’s record with its other photos and documents.

Can we get NABL or ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration?
Say so in the scope of work: the app asks you to name any specific accreditation your audit needs, such as ISO 17025 (in India, calibration laboratories are accredited to it by NABL). Then ask in the request’s message thread for the provider’s accreditation details before you accept. SuperGig does not promise a particular accreditation.
Which instruments can we get calibrated?
The request is built around the instruments you list. Give each one’s type, range and how many you have; the request asks for the number of instruments to calibrate, and the quote shows what is covered. The provider checks accuracy across the working range and issues a certificate.
Who issues the calibration certificate?
The provider who calibrates the instruments, not SuperGig. If the certificate has to follow a format your customer or auditor sets, attach an example to the request as a photo or PDF.
How much does instrument calibration cost?
Every job is quoted for your instrument list, so there is no price list. The quote shows the amount, the line items and how long it is valid. Asking is free, and nothing is booked until you accept.
Can SuperGig Plant show when calibration is due again?
For instruments on a machine you register in the Machines tab, yes: set “Service every (days)” to your calibration interval, and the machine’s page shows when it is next due or overdue. A Calibration record resets the schedule.
