What waste management usually covers

Used oil, coolant sludge, paint residue, chemical containers and contaminated rags can’t leave with the scrap or the general waste. Hazardous waste should go only to a disposer authorised by the state pollution control board (the Tamil Nadu board for Hosur sites, the Karnataka board for Bengaluru sites), and the paperwork should show where it went.

Can a plant request hazardous waste pickup?
Yes. Waste management covers pickup of segregated hazardous and general waste, transport by the provider and disposal paperwork from the provider. Before you hand over hazardous waste, ask in the request’s message thread for the disposer’s pollution-board authorisation.
