Weekend work

Make your weekends count.

Have a weekday job, or want your weekdays free? Weekend shifts let you work on Saturdays and Sundays without changing the rest of your week. You pick the days in My Availability, and you book every shift yourself.

Weekend work comes three ways, when plants post it: a one-day shift on a Saturday or Sunday; a weekly repeat on the weekend days, every week until a date the plant sets; or a multi-day run that a plant posts for weekends only, which you book in one swipe.

Use the day filter in Find Shifts to see just Saturdays and Sundays. Shifts that clash with one you’ve booked are greyed out, and if a weekend shift is full, you can join its waitlist.

How weekend work works

Six things to know about weekends.

  • Pick Saturday and Sunday

    Mark your weekend days in My Availability. They become a one-tap day filter in Find Shifts.

  • Weekly weekend repeats

    When a plant posts a weekly repeat on weekend days, the same shift comes round every week until a date the plant sets.

  • Weekend-only runs

    A plant can post a multi-day run for weekends only. Book it in one swipe, and skip a day if you need to, after seeing the effect on your SuperScore.

  • A few hours, not the whole day

    When a plant splits a shift into hourly slots, each slot is 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 hours long.

  • Full? Join the waitlist

    If a weekend shift is full, join its waitlist. When a slot frees up, the next Partner on the waitlist moves up.

  • Stay close to home

    Keep your travel limit at 3, 5, 10 or 25 km, and widen Find Shifts up to 100 km when you want to look further.

  • Weekend shifts depend on plants

    How many weekend shifts there are depends on what plants post near you. SuperGig doesn’t promise weekend work in any hub.

  • Plans change? Withdraw in time

    Withdraw in My Shifts until the cut-off the app shows, or ask a co-worker to cover. Cancelling less than 12 hours before the start counts as half a no-show.

  • No fees, ever

Can I work only on weekends with SuperGig?
Yes. Mark Saturday and Sunday as your days in My Availability, use the day filter in Find Shifts, and book only weekend shifts. How many there are depends on what plants post.
Are there Sunday shifts in Hosur and Bangalore?
When plants post them, yes. SuperGig covers 14 industrial hubs in Hosur and Bengaluru (Bangalore), and every shift shows its day, hours and pay before you book.
Can I book every weekend with the same plant?
You can when a plant posts a weekly repeat on weekend days, or a multi-day run for weekends only. A run is booked in one swipe; you can skip a day or stop the run, and the app shows the effect on your SuperScore first.
Can I do weekend shifts alongside a weekday job?
Yes. You choose every shift you book, so your weekdays stay yours. Pick your weekend days and time-of-day slots in My Availability; shifts that clash with one you’ve booked are greyed out. For other flexible work, see part-time and flexible shifts.
How are weekend shifts paid?
The same way as every shift. Each plant sets the pay for its shifts, and you see it before you book. After you clock out, the plant checks your shift and approves your pay when it signs the shift off. The app keeps your record: booked, awaiting approval and earned, with weekly statements.
Do I pay to get weekend work?
No. “You never pay to work here. Ever. No fees, no deposits, no agents.” If anyone asks you for money to get a SuperGig shift, don’t pay. Call us on +91 79969 95996 instead.
