Coming to Bengaluru or Hosur for factory work? Read this first.
Yes, you can join SuperGig from any state, or from Nepal, before you travel: pre-register online. Our corridor team will reach you for further onboarding. Shifts are only at plants in the 14 industrial hubs of Hosur and Bengaluru (Bangalore), and you book them yourself in the SuperGig Partner app after KYC. SuperGig does not arrange travel, rooms or food, and you never pay anyone to work.

Before you leave home
Pre-register first, then travel. Fill in the short form on Join as a SuperGig Partner, or in your language: हिन्दी, தமிழ், తెలుగు or ಕನ್ನಡ. Our corridor team will reach you for further onboarding. It costs nothing, and nobody from SuperGig will ever ask you for money.
Keep these ready for your onboarding:
- An Android phone, your mobile number and an email address.
- Your Aadhaar card (KYC asks for a photo of each side) and your PAN card.
- The work you do, and the hubs you want to work near.
KYC happens inside the SuperGig Partner app. You upload your Aadhaar and PAN once, and SuperGig’s verification team reviews them. You need an Aadhaar verified by SuperGig before you can book a shift. To use the app you must be at least 18 years old and allowed to work in India (the app’s terms).
“You never pay to work here. Ever. No fees, no deposits, no agents.” If anyone asks you for a fee, a deposit or a “registration charge” for SuperGig work, don’t pay, and don’t travel on that promise. Read how to spot a fake factory job offer.
Where the work is: 14 hubs in Hosur and Bengaluru
SuperGig has shift work only at plants in 14 industrial hubs in and around Hosur and Bengaluru (Bangalore), and nowhere else. When plants in these hubs post shifts and SuperGig has checked them, they appear in Find Shifts in the app, each with its pay, role, duties and hours.
Hosur, Tamil Nadu (see jobs in Hosur):
- SIPCOT industrial estates – SIPCOT Phase 1 and SIPCOT Phase 2
- Hosur Town
Bengaluru, Karnataka (see jobs in Bengaluru):
- South: Hosur Road – Electronic City, Bommasandra, Jigani and Attibele
- East: Whitefield and Old Madras Road – Whitefield and Hoskote
- North-west: Tumakuru Road – Peenya, Nelamangala and Dabaspet
- North: Doddaballapura
- South-west: Mysuru Road – Bidadi
Hosur’s three hubs are in Tamil Nadu; the other eleven are around Bengaluru, in Karnataka. So the state offices and portals that apply to you depend on where you work: Tamil Nadu’s for Hosur, Karnataka’s for the Bengaluru hubs.
Decide which hubs you want to work near before you choose where to stay. In the app, set how far you’ll travel in My Availability (3, 5, 10 or 25 km); Find Shifts shows shifts within 25 km of you, and you can widen it to 100 km.
Where you will live and eat: what SuperGig does not do
SuperGig does not arrange or provide rooms, PGs, hostels, meals, travel, advances or loans. You find and pay for your own place to stay and your own food, as anyone does who moves to a new city for work.
What a plant offers is shown on each shift. When a plant posts a shift, it can add perks from a fixed list of six: “Free meals”, “Transport pickup”, “Safety gear”, “Overtime pay”, “Performance bonus” and “Tea & snacks”. If a shift has any, you see them on the shift before you book, with its pay, hours and duties. Perks belong to that shift, not to a job.
Never travel because a caller or a message “from SuperGig” promised you a room, a hostel bed or meals. SuperGig does not arrange housing and never asks for money. Call +91 79969 95996 to check.
Language: the app speaks five
SuperGig Partner works in English, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada, and our team speaks the same five when you call. You can read this guide in हिन्दी, தமிழ், తెలుగు and ಕನ್ನಡ.
A plant can add “Hindi” or “Tamil” to a shift’s requirements when it needs one of them on the floor. A shift’s requirements show under “Before you come”, so you see them before you book.
If your language is Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Malayalam or Nepali, use the app in Hindi or English, or in whichever of the five you read best: the app does not have those languages. If you read and write Hindi, Tamil or English, you can also add #2103 Read & Write Hindi, #2101 Read & Write Tamil or #2102 Read & Write English to your skills.
Documents, and the record you build
Your Aadhaar can be from any state. KYC checks who you are, not where you live, so you do not need a Bengaluru or Hosur address for it. Keep your Aadhaar and PAN cards safe, and never send a photo of them to anyone over chat: you upload them only inside the app.
Two official schemes are worth reading about before you move: the eShram card, a free national registration for unorganised workers, and EPF and ESI, which an employer must deduct and deposit for workers who qualify. Our guides explain who they are for and how they work.
Every shift you complete builds your record in the app: My Shifts, Earnings with weekly statements, your SuperScore, and a Work passport, a PDF built from your real completed shifts that you can download and show.
Coming from Nepal
You can pre-register from Nepal, but booking a shift needs an Aadhaar verified by SuperGig and a PAN. KYC in SuperGig Partner takes those two documents, and SuperGig does not issue, apply for or help with either of them.
UIDAI, which issues Aadhaar, lets a foreign national who has lived in India for 182 days or more in the 12 months before applying enrol for Aadhaar. For nationals of Nepal and Bhutan, UIDAI’s list of documents accepts a Nepal or Bhutan passport, or a citizenship certificate together with a limited-validity photo identity certificate from the Nepalese or Bhutanese mission in India. Rules change, so check the current ones yourself on uidai.gov.in.
The SuperGig Partner app has no Nepali. Use it in Hindi or English, and read this guide in Hindi.
Your first weeks on SuperGig
Your first weeks are about building a record. Book only the shifts you can reach and will work: cancelling less than 12 hours before the start counts as half a no-show, and the app shows the effect on your SuperScore before you confirm.
- Set your availability
In My Availability, pick your days, your time-of-day slots (Morning, Day, Evening or Night) and how far you’ll travel: 3, 5, 10 or 25 km.
- Find shifts near you
Find Shifts opens on a map of shifts within 25 km of you; widen it to 100 km. Each shift shows its pay, role, duties and hours before you book.
- Show your WorkPass at the gate
The guard types your 6-digit WorkPass code or scans its QR. The code changes every 30 seconds and works offline.
- Clock in inside the plant
Clock-in opens at the shift start, inside the plant’s gate area. The live shift screen has an SOS button that leads with 112, India’s emergency number.
- Pay approved at sign-off
After you clock out, the plant checks your shift and approves your pay when it signs it off. Earnings shows booked, awaiting approval and earned, with weekly statements.
- Your SuperScore
After 3 completed shifts you get a SuperScore, worked out from your show-ups, your on-time arrivals and how plants rate your work.
Other free, official places to look
SuperGig is one honest option among several. These government portals are also worth a look:
- National Career Service (ncs.gov.in): the Government of India’s job portal, run by the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
- Tamil Nadu Private Job Portal (tnprivatejobs.tn.gov.in): the Tamil Nadu government’s portal for private-sector jobs in the state.
- eShram (eshram.gov.in): the national registration of unorganised workers.
Whatever you use, the rule is the same: never pay anyone to get you a job.
Moving here for work: your questions.
Can’t find your answer? Call or WhatsApp us. We speak English, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada.
