What industrial sites run on a shift
Industrial construction builds and extends the plants and warehouses of the corridor: steel structures and sheds, foundations and floors, cladding, piping, cabling and the fit-out of new lines. Construction is one of the industries a company picks when it signs up for SuperGig Plant, so a construction firm can post site shifts the same way a factory posts plant shifts.
Site work moves with the project. Riggers and structural fitters erect steel; welders and gas cutters join and cut it; electricians and panel wiremen lay cables and wire panels; crane operators and loaders move material; and safety officers, fire stewards, guards and housekeeping keep the site safe and clear. A firm sets its site up as a plant in the app, with its own geofence and gates, so the WorkPass check and clock-in work there too.
Much of this is hot work or work at height, so safety certificates matter. #2006 Work-at-Height Certified, #2007 Confined Space Certified and #2008 Hot Work / LOTO Certified count only once SuperGig verifies them, and #1705 Crane / Hoist Operator waits for a verified #2002 Crane Operator Licence.
