What OQC and final inspector work involves
01What the work is
Outgoing quality is the plant’s last line of defence. The OQC inspector takes finished goods from the end of the line or the packing area, draws a sample according to the AQL sampling plan, and checks each piece against the control plan: critical dimensions, appearance against limit samples, functional checks on test rigs, and the customer-specific points that have caused complaints before. Then the packing: the right part number, quantity, label, barcode, lot code and packing standard. A pre-dispatch inspection report, PDI, records it all, and only released lots go to dispatch.
02A shift, start to finish
A final inspection shift is about discipline. You check which lots are due for dispatch, inspect them in order, and never let a lot leave because a truck is waiting. Each sample is checked to the plan and recorded, labels and barcodes are scanned or read against the dispatch list, and the PDI report is completed and signed. A lot that fails is held with a tag, and you inform production and the quality engineer so it can be sorted or reworked. Traceability matters: the lot code on the box must lead back to the shift and line that made it.
03Your skill in SuperGig Partner
#1304 starts at L1 when you add it in My Skills. Plants can list #1304 on a shift with a minimum level, perhaps asking for more when the inspector releases lots alone. SuperGig raises your level from approved #1304 shifts, verified on-time arrivals and plant ratings.

How your level rises
#1304 Final / OQC Inspector starts at L1 when you add it in My Skills. Each skill climbs from L1 to L5. Only SuperGig sets a level, from your record, never the app. Three things move it up:
- Approved shifts in the skillShifts a plant approved that listed this skill when it was posted.
- Arriving on timeAn arrival SuperGig verified, such as the WorkPass check at the gate.
- How plants rate your workIt counts once a plant has rated you. Before that it never holds you back.
The app shows what your next level needs.
The skill check on a shift
A plant can list skills on a shift with one minimum level for all of them, from L1 to L5. You need every listed skill at that level, and SuperGig checks yours before the booking is accepted.
A shift with no skills listed has no skill check: any KYC-verified Partner can book it.
